The Best Basic Exercise Routines after Weight Loss

You are soon going to lose weight and often quite quickly once you use a weight loss aid such as an appetite suppressant, and when you do manage to shift the weight you need to lose you are then going to find you have more energy and will look good too.

What I have found is often people who have lost weight will then have the willpower and get up and go to start exercising to ensure they keep their weight off. With that in mind allow me to pass onto you some basic and easy to perform exercises below.

Let’s get one thing pretty straight, and I’m going to be brutal here. Unless you move, you are not going to lose weight, and when you are losing weight, you are going to hit a point where it flat lines. This is because you’ve got rid of a load of the excess fat (we do need fat in our lives), but the remaining fat is feeding the muscle which is growing.

For example, you could weigh 14 stone and have fatty bits like your arms or belly. You then lose 3 stone and are toning up, but then you gain a stone but haven’t gained fat. This is because muscle weighs more than fat. Technically, Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably overweight, but this is because all the charts are flawed and don’t take into consideration individual lifestyles.

Now, exercise is a curse word in my dictionary. It conjures up images of sweaty Muscle Mary types in the gym morning noon and night who don’t have the decency to wipe equipment down after using it.

But, there is salvation. You don’t have to go to the gym and pay a fortune. You don’t have to get an expensive personal trainer. You don’t even have to buy brand new running shoes. You can get a fair amount of ‘exercise’ simply by cleaning. This is a win-win situation. You get a house that looks like Martha Stewart has just cleaned it, and you’re burning energy. It sounds silly, but every little helps.

If housekeeping isn’t for you there are all kinds of fun things you can do that are ‘exercise’. Look at strippers and pole dancers. Do you really think they were born like that? Pole dancing is one of the most taxing forms of dance, even ballet doesn’t require that much core strength.

Then there are all the other forms of dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary. These are all exercise, but a lot more enjoyable (and social) than the gym.

You could join a walking club. Gentle exercise and taking in the natural beauty all around you.

You can turn nearly anything into a form of exercise, either way, if you’re moving, you’re doing it right, because there is no such thing as a 100% guaranteed quick fix pill. They are an AID, not an I DON’T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING NOW.
